On December 13th, INMYTEAM just completed the last release of 2023 with 26 new features and updates. In this article, we will explain each one of the new features.
Invoices for Private Duty can now include additional charges and taxes.
Agencies can now setup the Tax amount to be added on all invoices generated with INMYTEAM. Just go to the new Tab “Taxes” in Agency Information and input the % amount.
Additionally in the Tab “Patient Rates”, in the Patient Profile, there is a new section where Agencies can setup Extra Charge and Discount amount/percentage for each patient. The Extra Charge or Discount amount/percentage listed in the “Patient Rates” will be added or substracted from the total amount of each invoice generated for that patient.
Important remark! Taxes, Additional Charges and Discounts only apply to Patients setup as “Private Duty” Service Type.
Improvements on the report Billing Stats:
The columns for status Partially Paid and Partially Denied, now show the same way we did with the visits: displaying paid amount / total amount billed . It used to only show the total amount.
Skill visits now have an easy way to mark a visit as billable or non-billable.
Now the nurse assessment visits (SOC, Supervision, Recertification) will by automatically converted to “skilled visits” to be accounted for payroll, however will only be accounted for billing if the agency manually activates the “billable” checkmark in the visit.
In the report patient/caregiver state of service, we added 5 badges
In the report patient/caregiver state of service, we added 5 badges at the top right (similar to Invoices) to show each column’s total amount. Now users don’t need to go to summary to see the totals.
New Notes Dashboard with QA Autopilot functionality
This new functionality includes INMYTEAM Copilot giving scores to all notes submitted by the caregiver (Passed, Warnings, Failed).
The warnings will include descriptions as well as the Failed ones.
Also, we track the percentage of completion, taking into account all the tasks.
When will the system consider a note for Warning?
1. When has a task refused by the patient.
2. When the note has a weekly task but the task was already done.
3. When in the last visit of the week copilot detects a weekly task hasn’t been completed.)
Ability to create Authorizations for Non-Integrated Payers
For non-integrated Payers we now have the possibility to create Authorizations without an associated Billing code for Skilled and Non-Skilled Services.

HR Files review able to change categories
When reviewing files uploaded by the caregivers trough the mobile app, now the agency can change the category of the files. with this new functionality, you don’t need to reject a file just because the caregiver sent it in the wrong category, simply change the category yourself.
Add 'Active' Field to Plan of Care Task Creation/Editing:
The ability to include an ‘Active’ checkbox, checked by default, when creating or editing tasks associated with both Skilled and Non-Skilled Services. Tasks marked as inactive (unchecked) will not be displayed in the Care Plan when the corresponding Service is selected.
